Bhatkal has most number of voters in age category of 18-19 in Uttara Kannada district

Karwar: In the statistics provided by the Uttara Kannada District Administration, Bhatkal assembly constituency has the most number of voters in the age category of 18-19 years in the district. Bhatkal is followed by Kumta and Karwar in the list while Yellapur has the least numbers of voters in the category in the district.
The statistics add that the district overall has 9609 voters in the age category of 18-19 years. Among these 5069 voters are male while the other 4540 are female voters.
Bhatkal, Kumta and Karwar constituency shares the first, second and third spot in the list with 1958, 1806 and 1668 voters respectively.
While among other assembly constituencies of the district at number four position is Haliyal constituency with 1538 voters in the category, Sirsi with 1346 voters in the category is on the fifth place while Yellapur with 1293 voters is placed at the bottom of the list.
Uttara Kannada district will go into voting on April 23, in the second phase of two phased election in the state
