Bhatkal government school becomes first primary school of Taluka to get NCC unit

Bhatkal 28 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The BRC’s official Yellamma on Monday inaugurated Taluka’s first primary school NCC unit here at Belke school of Bhatkal. Addressing the event Yellamma said, “The country can only be developed, with the development of Rural area as said by Mahatma Ganndhi. Also, the students have to get engaged in service of the nation and be responsible for the development of the country.” Another guest for the event, Principal of SGS college Bhatkal Nagesh Bhat also spoke on the occasion and said, “I' am delighted by seeing the environment and discipline of the students here. They are well behaved and cleanliness is maintained everywhere around the school” The resource person for the event, Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Gangadhar Naik said "Along with the social life we need to balance our personal life and the society. Thus to be a responsible citizen, NCC helps in doing that” he added. On this occasion Shivani Shantaram, Principal Dr.Savitha Nayak, Belke gram panchayat president Ramesh Naik, Prakash shirali and others were present during the gathering.
