Bhatkal Government Hospital organises blood donation camp

Bhatkal 9 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal government hospital on Wednesday January 9, organised a blood donation camp in association with the Udupi district hospital, here at the Bhatkal government hospital. The donation camp began in the morning at 10:00 am in the presence of Mohsin Shabandri, Nazeer Kashimji, Venkatesh Naik, In-charge doctor of Bhatkal Taluka Hospital Dr. Savita Kamath and other staffs of Udupi district hospital. About 50 units of Blood were collected at the donation camp which will now be stored at Udupi district hospital's blood bank cum storage unit and will also be available for the use of Bhatkal patients. Dr. Savita Kamath, during inauguration of the camp spoke about the importance of the blood and such camps and thanked the donors for their support.
