Bhatkal girl scores 99.36% in SSLC examination

Bhatkal 1 May 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau)As the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) declared the 2019 SSLC results on Tuesday, Chaitali Lakshman Moger of Anand Ashram Convent School, Bhatkal topped Bhatkal Taluka by securing 99.36%(621) aggregate marks. While Shraddha Vinod Prabhu and Ankita Ganapathi Bhat of the same school stood second in Taluka with 618 marks (98.88%) each. Usha Yeshwant Naik of Vidya Bharathi School bagged third spot in the Taluka with 610 (97.6%). Among 1918 students from 37 schools of Bhatkal, 1640 students passed the examination. While schools including, Government High School of Jali, Beena Vaidya School of Murdeshwar and Kittur Rani Chennamma Residential School secured 100% results overall. Naganjali Naik from CVSK High School of Kumta and Srujana D from St Philomena English High School, Bengaluru topped the SSLC 10th exams with 100 percent (625 marks). As many as 11 students secured 624 marks. Uttara Kannada District however, slipped to fourth spot from previous year’s second place with a passing percentage of 88.12% .
