Bhatkal: Free training classes and computer classes for poor, needy and deserving girls/women

Bhatkal 05 April 2018: Vision India Mission Foundation (VIMF) will start providing free tailoring and Computer classes for poor and needy girls/women under Women Empowerment and Skill Development Project.
The main objective of the program is to enhance the quality of life of women and girls through enhancement of their skills and knowledge. The key area of focus will be Education, Health, Women Empowerment, Skill Development and Youth Empowerment.
According to the press release issued by the president of VIMF, "Computer training classes will include basic IT Course (MS Office, Internet Usage & NUDI), The three months course for women and girls require them to be at least PUC II (pass & above) with the age limit between 18-35 years.
The classes for tailoring will also be provided to those interested in tailoring. The minimum qualification should be 7th (fail/pass) and aged between 18 to 35 years of age. The span for this course is also three months.
The courses also include supplementary classes in English and soft skills to improve employment. Certificates will be awarded to candidates after completion of the courses. Placement assistance will also be provided to the candidates who successfully completes the course.
