Bhatkal: Former MLA JD Naik resigns from Congress

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 3 March 2017: Former congress MLA from Bhatkal JD Naik has submitted his resignation from the congress party after his 20 years’ association with the party. He informed the media in a press conference held at a private hotel here. Reasoning his move to resign, he said he has worked for the development of the party whole-heartedly over the years, but claimed that he has lost his plot within the party in recent past. Although he didn’t announce any of his plan to join any other political party as of now but sources has its say that the veteran politician may soon join BJP. What’s adding the fuel to speculations is BJP MP Anant Kumar Hegde’s meeting with him just before few days of announcing his resignation from the congress.
