Bhatkal: Forest minister Ramnath Rai inaugurates Eco beach and Tree park

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 24 March 2017: Forest  Minister Ramanath Rai today inaugurated Eco Beach and a Tree park at sagar road Bhatkal in presence of a huge crowd of locals, mediapersons, and officials of forest department and administration. An inauguration event was organized at Kamlavati Shanbhag Hall on Bunder road Bhatkal wherein the Minister while addressing the gathering stressed upon the importance of preserving the forest at a time when the earth is facing some serious threats from global warming and climate change. He also urged people to cooperate with the officials of the forest department and help them preserve the forest and wild life for a better tomorrow of the earth and environment. Bhatkal MLA Mankal Vaidya presided over the event, Zilla Panchayath president Jayshree Moger, Forest Security general officer Prajesh Kumar singh, Taluka Panchayath president Ishwar Naik, TMC President Matta Sadiq, Jali Panchayath Abdul Rahim Shaikh, Zilla Panchayath Member Albert Dcosta, and others were present at the event.
