Bhatkal: Firefighting drills demonstrated by Fire Department for Naunihal Central School students

Zaorez Shabab Bhatkal 18 Nov 2017: The Bhatkal fire department on Saturday organized a fire rescue drill at Naunihal Central school campus to acknowledge the students with the basics of firefighting. The students were all ears to the firefighting experts with their complete focus and made the event a successful one. Several methods of firefighting were demonstrated, and usage of several firefighting instruments were explained to the young minds, who were overjoyed by the experience. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com Nazeer Ahmed Attar, said the department has covered all the Kannada and Urdu medium schools in the Taluk and are now focusing on English medium schools as a part of government's initiative to demonstrate the firefighting basics to the students of all the schools.
