Bhatkal: Fire rescue drills at Anjuman Noor school

Bhatkal 18 Nov 2017: The Bhatkal fire department on Saturday organized a fire rescue drill at Anjuman Noor English school campus to acknowledge the students with the basics of firefighting.
The students were all ears to the firefighting experts with their complete focus and made the event a successful one.
Several methods of firefighting were demonstrated, and usage of several firefighting instruments were explained to the young minds, who were overjoyed by the experience.
Speaking at the event, the officials stressed upon being ready for the emergency situations, and told them how one can tackle such situation without any professional instrument and merely with household things.
Speaking exclusively to Bhatkallys.com Nazeer Ahmed Attar, spoke about the departments plan to visit every school of Bhatkal and to reach out to Students and train them.
The officials then said, the government has started recruiting new officers in the department after it had shortage of staff for several years. They also thanked Bhatkallys.com for reporting the staff and vehicle shortage issue and said it played a role in the administration coming into action, and that now they have both two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles.
