Bhatkal Fire Department organizes Fire rescue drills at Jamia Islamia

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 15 March 2018: The Bhatkal fire department on Wednesday organized a fire rescue drill at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal campus to teach the students the basics of firefighting. The students were all ears to the firefighting experts with their complete focus and made the event a successful one. Several methods of firefighting including the newly introduced MIST technology was also demonstrated, and usage of several firefighting instruments were explained to the students, who were overjoyed with the experience. The fire department is organizing such events in across all the schools in Bhatkal from last few months as the drive to keep the students ready with handy tips and tricks in cases of emergencies. The department also teaches several methods to fight fire with household stuff like green leaves, foam and soaps etc. The management of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal thanked the department for organizing such an event in their campus and also felicitated fire officers.
