Bhatkal: Fire brigade rescues cow trapped in drinking water well

Bhatkal 23 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Fire Brigade team on Sunday, rescued a cow that had fallen into a drinking water well, here at Sarpankatta locality of Bhatkal. As the team was informed about the cow that had fallen and was trapped into a well, the team rushed to the spot and one of the officer got down in the well and tied the cow with heavy duty ropes. The cow was later pulled up by the team successfully with minor scratches on the body. The cow was later handed over to the owner. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com Nazeer Ahmed, an officer who was part of the rescue operation, added that the well was covered with the sheets on ground, where the cow stepped and fell down into the well. He also expressed hapiness over the operation and added that these little things make the team happy when they help people as well ass other creatures. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
