Bhatkal: Farmers submit memorandum against Forest Department

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 02 Feb 2018: Karnataka Farmer’s Association on Friday submitted a memorandum to Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner against the deforestation drive in Belli locality initiated recently by the local Forest Department. The association claimed that the department which is responsible to save the environment is supposedly destroying it and it is threatening. The memorandum urged the State Government to interfere in the issue and to stop the drive.
