Bhatkal family's car crashes into truck in Maharashtra; One dead, three injured

Satara/Bhatkal 2 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) One woman died while three other sustained injuries in a road accident near Satara toll gate of Maharastra here in the wee hours of Friday, 2 Nov. The family involved in the accident is reported to be that of prominent businessman of Bhatkal, Muzaffar Kola. The deceased has been identified as Ameena Kola (63) w/o Muzaffar Kola, while the other three injured are his daughter, son Abdul Kola who was driving the car and another relative Shaoor Kola. According to the reports, the family of Muzaffar was on a tour to Maharashtra as a part of their family picnic when the accident took place while returning back to Bhatkal. The reports further adds, that one of the three cars the family were travelling into crashed into a truck standing at the Satara toll gate here. Abdul Kola s/o Mujaffer Kola, who was driving the car sustaained injuries on his back, while his daughter and another relative Shaoor Kola were critically injured in the accident. The deceased's body arrived in Bhatkal late on Friday evening following which a huge number of people gathered at the family's house at Azad Nagar here, the funeral rights are expected to take place at 10.pm on Friday at Tanzeem Juma Masjid.
