Bhatkal Dy.SP lauds efforts of APCR, offers 'any support' to the association, as officials hold meeting with the officer

Bhatkal 16 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Dy.SP Valentine D'Souza lauded the efforts of Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) as the association has been providing legal aid to the people and help fight them for their civil rights over the years in Bhatkal.
Officials of APCR, held a meeting with the Valentine D'Souza on Thursday at his office in Bhatkal town police station and shared ideas on several issues and also explained the workings and operations of the association to the officer.
The officer acknowledged that he was aware of the working and credentials of the association, as he had come across several cases where APCR had helped and guided people in distress throughout their legal battle while also helping them secure their civil rights, he further acknowledged that the police department too has a good impression of the association as it has worked in assistance with the association to resolve domestic issues with out of court settlements.
Valentine also offered all the support by the department to APCR and assured them of lending 'any support' they need from the department.
APCR also presented a memento to Valentine D'Souza which was due to be handed to him during the recently organised RTI workshop, where he was invited as the guest of honor. Valentine owing to his call to duty had missed the event but had signed the certificates of the participants in advance.
APCR District President, Moulana Zubair SM, District General Secretary Qamaruddin Mashaikh, Activists Shazib Shaikh, Bilal Ruknuddin and others were present during the meeting.
