Bhatkal Dy. SP Valentine D'Souza selected for President's Medal

Bhatkal 25 June 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Dy. SP Valentine D'souza in among the several police officers selected for the President’s Medal which will be conferred to them in a ceremony at Raj Bhavan’s Glass House of Bengaluru on July 5. An officer of KSP 1994 batch D’Souza had served as Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) in Bhatkal after which he was promoted as Circle Police Inspector (CPI) 2002-2003 and was posted here for almost one and a half year. Before his current posting in Bhatkal, as Dy. SP D’Souza was posted as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mangaluru City Crime Branch and had headed investigations in key cases. Valentine D'souza, DySP of Bhatkal since March 2018, has made remarkable progress in maintaining law and order in the town. He has also represented India at the International Natural Body Building Championship at Las Vegas, USA where he won the award for best poser of the competition.
