Bhatkal: Driver commits suicide by consuming poison inside truck

Bhatkal 27 September 2019: A depressed man working as a truck driver ended his life by consuming poison inside his gas tanker truck here at NH-66 in Bhatkal on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Vasu Kareyappa Naik (30), a resident of Tengingundi in Bhatkal. According to sources, Vasu consumed poison inside the truck allegedly depressed over some personal problems. Soon as the police were informed about the incident, Bhatkal Rural Police reached the spot and shifted body Bhatkal Government hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police Station.
