Bhatkal: DC calls meeting in connection with stall shops at Murdeshwar Beach

Bhatkallys News Service Bhatkal 04 May 2017: Deputy Commissioner (DC) called an meeting on Thursday in connection with the stall shops by the Beach side in Murudeshwar which were taken off recently after several complaints from the fishermen quoting the inconvenience caused to them by the stall on beach side. MLA Mankal Vaidya also spoke to the DC over the phone during the meeting and asked the administration to come out with solutions to both the parties. DC then assured the stall owners of arranging an alternate space for the stalls on beach side which meanwhile won’t cause inconvenience to the fishermen. He also appealed to the locals to maintain peace into the matter and not to indulge or believe in spreading any rumors. The district administration also sent strong orders to the police department for not causing any inconvenience to the tourists. Tahsildar VN Bhatkar, Executive Engineer CT Naik, Zilla Panchayath Member Albert Dcosta, Vittal Naik, and others were also present at the meeting.
