Bhatkal: CPI (M) leader Subhash Koppikar passes away

Bhatkal 05 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Subhash Koppikar, the district Secretary of CPI(M) party and a social activist passed away in the wee hours of Saturday when he was struck with a major cardiac arrest at 2:30am at his residence here in Shirali.
Subhash had been a part of several struggles of poor and farmers and was termed as a 'visionary leader' by the farmers of nearby localities.Subhash was also associated with Student Federation of India(SFI) and also the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI).
Subhash had played key role in hundreds of Struggles including strike over providing of Basic educational infrastrfucture, struggle of infiltration land, struggle of labors at Bunder, building the Honnavar bridge among others.
