Bhatkal: Cooking competition, Charity stalls, Informative Islamic Programs for women by GIO on April 19

Bhatkal, 14 April 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Girls Islamic Organisation of India Bhatkal Unit (Girls Islamic Organisation) is will organise a set of interesting events and competitions for girls aged between 17 and 22 years on Friday, April 19. The Competitions will include a first of its kind cooking competition where the participants will have present a pre-cooked ‘Sunnah food’ (Liked or advised by Prophet Muhammed). Apart from the cooking competition quizzes, Islamic lectures and other events will mark the day at Al-Kausar Girls Islamic College on Basti Road here. The event is themed as Fafirru ilallah - meaning 'flee towards Allah' A pre-registration process is also in place for the cooking competition as the organisers aim to limit the entries of participation to maintain the quality of the competition. Another attraction for the participants and the audience of the events will be ‘Charity stalls’ that will be set up at the venue. “The stalls will offer a variety of foods for the buyers and the money earned through this will directly be sent for charity (Sadaqah)” organisers told Bhatkallys.com “The cooking competition and its result will follow Informative Islamic Programs that will include Islamic lectures on ‘Importance of Sunnah food’ thought provoking verse of Holy Quran 'Fafirru ilallah’” a press release from GIO added informed.
