Bhatkal: 'Communal Harmony, Brotherhood and Peace' themed get together of different communities organized by JIH Women Wing

Bhatkal 06 March 2018: Women Wing of Bhatkal Jamat-e-Islami Hind in association with Al-Kauser Girls College organized a get together event on “Communal Harmony, Brotherhood and Peace", at Hotel Royal Oak, Shamshuddin Circle on Sunday, March 4 evening.
The event began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Tabassum, a student of Al Kauser Girls college, followed by its translation in English and Kannada by Bareera and Sabiha Farooque respectively. Gitrif Manvi presented Hamd in Kannada, while Fouzia Tanveer of Al Kauser Girls college welcomed the guests and audience and Sabira Saba presented Naat.
Yellama, Block Resource Cordinator and one of the guest for the event, in her address stressed upon importance of Education and the role it plays in maintaining communal harmony.
Kulsum Abubaker sub-editor Anupama magazine and Principal Arabic college Udupi and the chief guest of the event in her address, spoke about how good character building and our behavior in the society and efforts from all the communities can play an important role in maintaining communal harmony in our country, she also explained the reality of life and death with reference from Quran.
Guest of Honor Shashi Kala (Retired P.E teacher of Anjuman Girls High School) was felicitated during the event to recognize her tremendous services to the Anjuman Girls High School for an period of over 27 years.
Speaking to Bhatkallys.com Nabira Mohtesham, Principal Al Kauser Girls college and member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) women wing from Karnataka, confirmed that atleast over 130 people from different communities attended the event, she further termed the function 'Successful'.
The event was jointly organized by Women Wing of Bhatkal Jamat-e-Islami Hind and Al-Kauser Girls College. The event concluded with the vote of thank and sum up address by Nabira Mohtesham.
