Bhatkal: Coconut tree falls on a house, loss estimated to be over 40,000/-

Bhatkal 15 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) As the downpour continues to batter Bhatkal Taluka, another house was reportedly damaged after a huge tree fell over it, here at Mutalli Gram Panchayath limits on Saturday, 14 June. The house belonging to Manjuhuttiya Masti of Taland got damaged as huge coconut tree fell over his house. Lucikily no casualties or injuries were reported during the incident. The officials of Revenue Department Raju Naik, Manju Naik, Village Accountant Vishwanath Gaokar and others visited the spot and estimated a loss of Rupees 40,000/-.
