Bhatkal celebrates India's victory over Pakistan in World Cup

Bhatkal 17 June 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) A group of Youngsters in Bhatkal on Sunday night took out to the streets to celebrate India’s win over arch rivals Pakistan in ICC World Cup match in Manchester. The group used a WhatsApp message as a tool to communicate with other people and spectators of the match to call upon them to join the celebrations at the Shamsuddin Circle here. The match which was reduced to 40 overs due to rain was an cakewalk for the Indian team as both Pakistani bowlers and batsmen failed to bother the men in blue as the posted a formidable 336 runs target for Pakistan. This was India’s 7th straight win against Pakistan in World Cups where the latter have failed to beat India even once in 7 encounters in the mega event. Soon after the win the group of youngsters reached Shamsuddin Cicle with Indian flags and raised slogans praising the team’s performance against Pakistan. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
