Bhatkal: Car falls off the bridge into the lake; driver escapes miraculously without injuries

Shirali 19 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A car fell off the bridge in Sharadahole of Bhatkal on Saturday when the driver tried to avoid collision with a vehicle that was overtaking another vehicle from opposite direction. The car along with the driver Sandesh Sudan, fell off the bridge into the lake, Sandesh however miraculously survived without any major injury as the locals rushed to his help and got him and his car out of the lake. According to the reports Sandesh was driving towards Mangaluru from Goa when the incident took place. Bhatkal rural police rushed to the spot and conducted initial investigation into the matter.
