Bhatkal: Body of local fisherman who went missing on Sunday found at Tengingundi beach

Bhatkal 8 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Body of a local fisherman who went missing on Sunday while fishing at the Arabian sea was found here at Tengingundi Beach of Bhatkal on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Vasu Narayan Moger, a resident of Shirali. As per sources, Vasu fell into the water due to imbalance while throwing the fishing net into the sea and drowned there.The body was however not found for the rest of the day. On Monday morning a local resident found his body floating near the beach side of Tengingundi. The alerted police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government hospital of Bhatkal. A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
