Bhatkal: BMYF instructs local sports clubs to minimize the number of tournaments being played during night

Bhatkal 23 Nov 2017: Bhatkal Muslims Youth Federation (BMYF) on Wednesday issued a circular to all its member clubs instructing them to minimize the number of games and tournaments being played during nights in Bhatkal.
The circular dated 22 Nov 2017, overall had six instructions from the body to its member clubs including the instruction to not to use any advertisements on the outfits of the players.
Keeping the recent tournaments organized by several local clubs in mind, in the name of Pro-Kabbadi, the circular also instructs the club not to promote such events and to be played only between the members and players of the club, while also refraining from inviting 'Guest Players' from other clubs and localities to such events.
The circular further instructs clubs not to declare the prize money for such events.
BMYF President, Imtiyaz Udyawar while speaking to Bhatkallys.com said "Several events of different clubs are already lined up for this season and that it will not be fair to disturb their preparations now, BMYF has sent the circular, but it can only be implemented completely starting next season."
The six instructions mentioned in the circular are as follows:
- Do not promote games and events that will be played between the club members and players only.
- The club should refrain from inviting guests and players from other localities.
- The player's outfit should not hold any advertisements.
- Do not declare the prize before the event.
- The play area/ground should not bear any advertisements, posters or business placards.
- The clubs should try to wind up games/tournaments during the day and with minimum expenses.
