Bhatkal: Blood donation camp organized at Taluka Government hospital

Bhatkallys News Service/ I. Zaorez Shabab Bhatkal 22 July 2017: Taluka Government hospital in association with Friends Gym Bhatkal today organized an Blood donation camp at the Taluka Govt hospital. The camp commenced at 10.00 am and came to an end at 1.00 pm. As per the organizers a total of 35 units of Blood has been collected which will be sent to Udupi Blood bank for storage after screening and other testings. The blood will be delivered to Bhatkal Taluka hospital as per the needs. The camp was supervised by Dr. Manjunath Shetty and Dr. Shivanand of Taluka Bhatkal Hospital. Along with them Social worker and Rotary club member Nazir Kashimji and the owner of Friends Gym Venkatesh were present throughout the camp. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com the organizers of the camp thanked every donor and congratulated them on successfully contributing to the noble cause of donating blood.
