Bhatkal: BJP women wing initiate tree planting campaign

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 19 July 2017:  Women members of BJP District youth wing initiated a plantation campaign wherein they visited several homes in Moodabhatkal and Muttalli area and planted trees and spread awareness about global warming and environmental pollution among the residents. Speaking to the media on the occasion President Rekha Hegde said, The campaign was initiated to mark the birth anniversary of Pandith Deendayal, in a bid to protect environment. Present at the event were other members of the party Kaveri Devadiga, Shivani Shantaram, and other women.
