Bhatkal: Bikers forces stop pickle distributors, loot them of cash and Mobiles on NH 66 in broad daylight

Bhatkal 04 January 2018: Two people on their vehicle were stopped and were robbed off their money after being attacked by a gang of six unknown miscreants on National Highway 66, near ice factory of Venktapur on Saturday,
The victims have been identified as Krishna Poojary and Gururaj Shetty of Kundapur who were reportedly distributors.
Krishna and Gururaj Shetty were on their way to Kundapur after distributing pickles in Murdeshwar, when around 5 to 6 people on two bikes followed them and attacked by pelting stones on their vehicle, and robbed them off Four thousand rupees and mobiles from them.
ASI Govinda Dodmani of Bhatkal Rural Police Station confirmed Bhatkallys.com that the incident took place on Saturday 03 Febuary at around 4.30 pm, when Krishna and Gururaj's car Tata Venture, had a mild collision with the bike of the miscreants, angered by this the attackers followed the car and pelted stones at them before attacking and looting them.
A case has been registered in Bhatkal Rural Police Station and further investigations are underway.
