Bhatkal: BIFA team emerges runner-up at National level u-14 football tournament in Maharashtra

Bhatkal 19 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Inter Football Association (BIFA) on Sunday emerged the runners-up in the national level under 14 football tournament organised by Sharad Soccer Academy Latur branch in Latur, Maharashtra. On its way to semi-finals BIFA defeated Hyderabad, Jharkhand, Sai, Jhalandhar, and Bengaluru teams comprehensively before beating Bagalkot in semi-finals to enter finals. BIFA players in a nail-biting finals against Maharashtra team performed wonderfully well and lost the match by one goal with the scoreline in finals reading 2-1. Team BIFA had a balanced mixture of players of several educational institutions including New Shams School, IAUHS, Naunihal Central School, Ali Public School, who are trained by and plays for BIFA club.
