Bhatkal Bar Association emerges runners up at District level cricket tournament for advocates; Imran Lanka awarded best batsman of the tournament

Bhatkal 30 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Bar Association on Sunday participated at the district level cricket tournament organised for Advocates, by Ankola Bar Association at Ankola on December 30. Bhatkal Bar Association team emerged as the runners up of the tournament as the team lost to Mundgod Bar Association in the final match of the tournament. Earlier in the day, the team remained sailed into the tournament after beating Ankola Bar Association in the league match, and Karwar Bar Association in the semi-final match. About seven teams of Bar Associations including Honnavar, Sirsi and others participated in the tournament. Bhatkal's young advocate was awarded best batsman of the tournament award for scoring quickfire 70 runs in the semi final match against Karwar. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
