Bhatkal-Bangalore VRL bus meets with an accident near Hasan; 1 dead

Bhatkal - 30 Nov 2011: A Bhatkal-Bnagalore VRL Bus met with an accident early morning today near Hasan killing one person on the spot and injuring 8 others.

According to the sources, the driver of an ill-fated bus lost control of his vehicle and collided with an stationery truck near Hasan, some 150 km away from Bangalore. The impact of the collision was so severe that, the bus cleaner died on the spot while 8 others sustained injuries including bus driver. Five Bhatkalis were also travelling on the bus and the other passengers were from Kindapur, Udupi and Mangalore.
