Bhatkal: Another theft case reported today, Police still clueless about the culprits

Bhatkal 27 Aug 2017: Cash worth sixty thousands and other jewellery were stolen from an house at Moosa Nagar reportedly on Sunday when the owners of the house where out of station for the treatment in Mangaluru.
The house is reportedly owned by Aouf Shabandri, and the theft was reported when they returned from Mangaluru only to find the lock of their main door broke. Upon further inspection they found all their cupboard and other belongings broke open.
A case was registered at Bhatkal town police station of Jewellery and cash of sixty thousands theft and police is investigating the case.
It is noteworthy that the Bhatkal police has been under some pressure as rate of theft cases in town has been on rise lately with a theft case reported every now and then in last six months, the police has failed to crack the investigation and get their hands on the culprits. It is high time the police department pulls their socks and cracks the theft cases and get off these pressure.
