Bhatkal: Another theft case reported, burglars take away 25000 in cash

Bhatkal 26 Jan 2018: The increasing number of theft cases in locked houses in the town is on its high pitch. Yet another such theft was reported here at Bunder road 1st Cross Bhatkal on Thursday, 25 Jan.
The theft is reported to be taken place at 'Abu Bahar House', residence of Usman Damudi, when the family had been to visit a relative's house in the evening and returned at night. But, to their horror on return, their house had been robbed and burglars had made away with the cash of twenty five thousand rupees.
It is reported that the thieves had broke into the house through back door. The thieves also broke open one of the cupboards and made away with the cash of twenty five thousand rupees. The burglars tried to loot the other cupboards too but were unsuccessful in opening it. Hence couldn't take away any valuables.
The case has been registered at Bhatkal Police Station.
The locals have been questioning these theft cases, which are on all time-high as several cases have been reported of thefts targeting the closed homes, sending the locals into a state of fear while leaving their houses.
