Bhatkal: Anjuman organizes Alumni, Parents, teachers meet

Bhatkal 28 March 2017: Ideas were exchanged and discussions were made on several institutional topics between the Parents, Alumni and the lecturers of Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce College and PG centre Bhatkal in an meet organized by the college management which was also attended by the President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal.
While the parents took part in the meeting, they also openly spoke about and suggested quite a few changed that they are expecting in and from the institution.
Addressing the attendees, College board Secretary Javed Armar, termed Parents, Teachers, Students and Management as the most important factors in building an institution and a student’s career as well. He said, until and unless these four factors don’t go hand in hand an institution nor any student can excel at any level.
He also thanked all the parents who were present at the meet and also addressed them as ‘Responsible Parents’.
Anjuman President, Abdul Rahim Jukaku in his presidential address urged teachers to build an friendly relationship with the students and keep the students within the reach of their commands. He also spoke about the alumni and their achievements and also revealed few success stories of Anjuman Alumni.
He further requested the parents to keep an track of their pupils and more specifically asked them to track their attendance regularly, while expressing his disappointment about the attendance of the students in college.
With all these happening the meeting was termed ‘Important’ by the college but the number of parents who turned up for the event was certainly disappointing as more than half of parents remained absent for the meeting.
