Bhatkal: Anjuman IAUHS celebrates 'Education day' to mark Moulana Abul Kalam Azad's birth anniversay

Bhatkal 12 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen’s Islamia Anglo Urdu High School on Sunday November 11, celebrated ‘Education day’ to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister of Independent India, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, the event was organised by Moulana Azad Language and Library club of the school.
Several students presented speeches on Moulana Azad and discussed various attributes of his personality, including his contributions to the freedom movement and for the upliftment of the educational system of India both pre and post independence era of the country.
Mohiuddin Khattali, teacher of the school in his address to the students urged them to develop etiquettes along with knowledge. He further asked the students to study in detail the personality of Moulana Azad and asked them to develop those qualities as Moulana and to lead the community to its development and upliftment in the society.
Abdul Rasheed Mirzankar, another teacher of the school also addressed the students followed by presidential address by Shabbir Dafedar, school head master.
Minority Department’s in-charge in Bhatkal Shamsuddin was also present during the event and also addressed the students.
