Bhatkal: Anjuman IAUHS and ABHS organizes annual social gathering

Bhatkal 15 Jan 2018: Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen’s Islamia Anglo Urdu High School (IAUHS) and Anjuman Boys High School (ABHS) today organized their Annual Social gathering at IAUHS campus near old bus stand in Bhatkal.
The Prize distribution ceremony was organized in the morning while the rest part of the event was scheduled for evening.
The Prestigious ‘Waqar-e-Anjuman’ and ‘Waqar-e-Islamia’ awards were awarded to Mohammed Amr s/o Jailani Akrami and Ameer s/o Muneer Mohiddin Muallim respectively. Several other students were also awarded with prizes and certificates for their performances and achievements in sports, cultural activities and others throughout the academic year.
Chief Guest of the event Dr. Nazim, President of Karnataka Urdu Academy and an alumni of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen addressed the students and stressed upon the importance of education and also spoke about how the importance of education is elaborated in Islam, while referring to Hadith and Quran verses.
He then advised the parents of the students to consider the wishes of the students after SSLC and speak to them about their aims and ambitions in life while and not to discourage them from taking up what they want to be in life.
He further urged students to use the gadgets, mobile phones and internet for the purpose of studies and avoid from illicit use of these services.
Ishaque Shabandri welcomed the guest for the event, Shabbir Dafedar head Master of IAUHS, Khattali Mohiddin Head Master ABHS presented the annual reports of their respective schools. Abdul Rahman Batin Presided over the event, while Abdul Rasheed Mirzani presented vote of thanks towards the end of the inauguration event.
Cultural and entertainment programs were scheduled after 8.30 pm.
