Bhatkal: Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen's annual general meet held

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 21 May 2017: Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal organized its annual general meeting at Shamsuddin Memorial building here in Anjumanabad on Sunday. The members on the occasion raised their concern over poor show by the Anjuman students in recently announced SSLC Examination results and urged the management to take the issue seriously and to come up with solution for putting up a better show in next academic year. Responding to the concerns of the members, in his presidential address, Abdul Rahim Jukaku blamed the frequent sports tournament and activities of the town for the poor performances of the students in academics, and also urged parents and guardians to take active part in the academic life of the pupils as merely school and teachers cannot force good performances and it requires constant support from parents. He also expressed his disappointment over the number of members skipping the meet and requested all the members to keep in constant touch with the organization throughout the year and not only at the annual meets as the management requires the feedback and support from them. Gen. Secy. Siddique Ismail presented the annual report while Ameeruddin Kola presented the audit report.
