Bhatkallys News Bureau/ I. Zaorez Shabab Bhatkal, 12 Nov 2017: Taking a step closer towards technology, a new internal communication platform is being put in place at Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen to enable seamless connectivity between executive and staff members at various institutions managed by the group. Executive members and staff attended a one-day workshop on Sunday to learn more about latest Microsoft technologies and its implementation at Anjuman. The workshop was facilitated by Shabandri Mohammed Mohsin, an alumni and former executive member of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen. Switching to the new platform, executive members are now encouraged to facilitate e-mail communication, calendar management and team updates through the Microsoft 365 product portfolio. Microsoft Team and Microsoft 365, which offer a variety of services will soon be introduced across campuses to serve as a communication link between parents and the staff. “By bringing the latest technology to our campus, we will improve efficiency and save time. This will provide better services and help us in the long run,” said Shabandri Mohsin. Microsoft Team is a chat based solution that allows collaboration tools via chats, SMS, e-mail, calendar, groups and video calling. Anjuman President, Jukaku Abdul Rahim and General Secretary, Ismail Siddique appreciated the move as they called on staff to benefit from advanced training sessions. Future plans include a full implementation of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications for education management and more training sessions to improve operational workflow at the institution. The Anjuman management assured it’s support in implementing innovative technology solutions.
