Bhatkal: Anjuman delegation meets MLA Sunil Naik ahead of centenary celebrations

Bhatkal 23 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) With just about 12 days for the inaugural event of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal's year long centenary celebrations, that will kick start on January 5, the organisation in leaving no stone unturned to make sure the event gets the desired inaugural response from the public.
As a part of its preparations for the event, a delegation of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal, led by General Secretary Ismail Siddique, on Sunday met Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik, at his residence at Shirali here.
The delegation invited the MLA for the inaugural event, where prominent political leaders including Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy is expected to attend the event.
MLA Sunil Naik accepted the invitation and assured the delegation of attending the program on priority.
Speaking of Anjuman, Sunil Naik hailed Anjuman and its services, and congratulated the organisation on completing hundred years, while also saying he feel proud to be an alumni of the institution.
"My whole family studied in Anjuman, my sister, uncle, mother and everyone else did study in Anjuman and we are proud that we studied in such a progressive institution. What I like the most about Anjuman is it is people friendly and helps people with admissions even if they belong from financial backward families, they never send anyone back for not having funds or any other reasons like that".
He further added "I completed by graduation in Anjuman, and I was assisted and helped not only with my academics but also in sports and other activities".
Anjuman PU and Degree colleges board's secretary Mohsin Shabandri and Kola Sami were also part of the delegation that met Sunil Naik.
