Bhatkal: Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce college and PG Centre celebrates 50th annual day

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 28 March 2018: Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce college and PG Centre on Wednesday organized its 50th annual day celebrations at its college campus here in Anjumanabad. The event began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Ismail Shabandri and Nath by Mohammed Shamoon of B.Com II Sem. Principal of the institution Prof. M.K Shaikh presented the annual report of the college, while Buddu Mohd Aftab introduced the Chief Guest and Zakkar Ahmed introduced the Guest of Honour. Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Kaleem Zia, Retd. Prof of Urdu in Mumbai University spoke about his love for Bhatkal and how it has developed a special place for itself in his heart. He further stressed upon students to acquire more and more knowledge as that itself is part of Islam, and advised them of working towards their passion and working for success in both here in the world and hereafter. Guest of Honour Advocate Imran Lanka, while addressing the students asked them to take life and career as a challenge and to compete with oneself rather than competing with others. He also urged students to always look for ways in which they can give back something to the community through their profession.
