Bhatkal: AITM organizes 38th annual athletic meet 'SPORTAITM'

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 11 April 2018: Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) on Wednesday organized its 38th annual athletic meet named 'SPORTAITM' here at its college ground in Anjumanabad. The college flag was hoisted at the beginning of the event by Physical Director Prof. Altaf and Chief Guest of the event Bhatkal Dy.SP Valentine D'Souza. The event was presided over by Abdul Rahim Damudi, Vice President 1 of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal. Speaking at the event Valentine D'Souza had words of praise for the athletic nature of the students in Bhatkal region and asked them to always work for making it big in the athletic field and said he will be one of the most happiest if any athlete could represent the nation at the highest level of the games. He further urged the students to take inspiration from the BIFA team of Bhatkal who will soon be playing international football tournament in America, and said an athlete should struggle and never give up no matter how bad the times are for him, both individually and collectively as a team.
