Bhatkal: AIMCA organizes 22nd annual day event

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Sheikh Zabih Bhatkal 04 April 2018: Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA) organized its 22nd Annual Day Celebration at its college campus at Anjumanabad on Sunday. The event began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Abdul Hafiz Sada of BBA 3rd year, while Student's General Secretary Ehaab Udyawar presented the welcome note, followed by Gul-E-Mahek introducing the guests for the event to the audience. Principal of the college Prof. Mohsin K presented the annual report of the institution and shed lights upon some of the academic, sports and co-curricular achievements of the students while also calling upon parents to spread the word about the institution in their circles to get more students admitted to the college. Chief Guest of the event Ramani venkat, NPL Trainer and Motivational speaker addressed the students, he spoke about 'Self branding' of the students and to know what they are at their best before selecting their career paths. He expressed his disappointment over the students  selecting their careers after the completion of PUC and advised the younger generation to be clear about their goals right from their high school days to have a firm idea about the future. Guest of Honor Zahid Hassan Kharuri, HOD Department of Management studies, AITM, in his address stressed upon the students to opt for higher education after their bachelors degrees, while also elaborating about the kind of opportunities they get when they have degrees like Masters, Research, Doctorate etc, he further advised students of being bold enough of expressing their inner abilities and potential to succeed in this modern and competitive corporate world. Damudi Abdul Raheem, Vice president of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen presided over the event. On behalf of Famudi Abdul Raheem, college board secretary Aftab Qamri delivered the Presidential address. The inauguration event was followed by prize distribution ceremony wherein several students were awarded Trophies, Certificates and Cash prizes for their performance and achievements in Academics, Sports and co-curricular activities during the academic year. The event came to a close with final year students speaking about their experiences in the college for the last three years as they walk out of the college after the completion of their respective courses. Maryam Hira Ikkeri presented the vote of thanks. Janab Siddique Ismail, General Secretary of A.H.M, Janab Ishaque Shahbandri, Additional General Secretary A.H.M, Prof. Mohammed Mohsin, Principal of AIMCA Bhatkal along with other staffs and parents were present during the event.
