Bhatkal: After unanimous election, Syed Aadam Panambur takes charge as Jali Patan Panchayath President

Bhatkal 18 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Syed Aadam Panambur who was unanimously elected as the president of Jali Patan Panchayath earlier today, took over the charge at the Panchayath office after holding a meeting with Bhatkal Tahsildar VN Bhatkar. Speaking to mediapersons after taking the charge, Aadam maintained that till now he was the Councillor of Umer Street ward but since he is now been elected as the President of the Patan Panchayath he will work towards ensuring the development in all the wards. "Firstly, I thank all the Councillors for supporting me and electing me unanimously, I also thank Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem for selecting me as its candidate, I will make sure that the pending developmental is taken up immediately, while also trying to put in my maximum efforts in whatever time I am left with in this tenure" Aadam added. On Tuesday, Syed Aadam was selected as the Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem’s candidate to contest the elections, he secured 45 votes as against 30 secured by Syed Bilal Qamri in Tanzeem’s internal voting to select the candidate.
