Bhatkal: 69th Republic day celebrated at Taluka stadium

Bhatkal 26 Jan 2018: 69th Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor in every school and colleges across the town. A public function was held at Nawaith Colony taluka stadium ground (YMSA) where police officials, NCC and school students presented their March Past. On the occasion,Bhatkal Tahsildar V N Bhadkar unfurled the tri-color. Addressing the audience, he highlighted on the importance of constitution. Programme was presidedover Mankal Vaidya. He stressed urged the people to benefit themselves through severa; schemes and programs of state government in Education sector as well as other sectors. On thisOccasion, several police personnel, social workers along with the students from various schools were felicitated for their extraordinary achievements in various fields.
