Bhatkal: 105 units of blood collected in blood donation camp by Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application

Bhatkal: Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA) in association with ABM Trust and Taluka Hospital, Bhatkal on Monday Organised blood donation camp here at college campus in the presence of a team of 15 nurses and two doctors who supervised the collection of blood units.
The Inaugural event began with the recitation of holy Quran by Mashar Qamar BCA 1st year student followed by the welcome speech by AIMCA Principal Mohammed Mohsin K.
Dr. Veena Kumari and Dr. Savitha Kamath addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of blood donation drives which can save the life.
Usaid from BBA final year introduced the chief guest Dr. Savitha Kamath and Guest of honor Dr. Veena Kumari.
Janab Isahq Shabandari, Additional General Secretary, AHM delivered the presidential address.
The organisers later informed that a total of 105 units of blood were collected during the donation camp and the donors were given certificate of appreciation and refreshment as a token of gratitude.
