Bengaluru-Mangaluru train service suspended due to landslides in 3 places

Bengaluru-Mangaluru train service has been suspended for the time being following landslides at three spots along this route. Incessant rains have caused landslides at the problematic Edakumeri and two other places. Reports state that Bengaluru-Mangaluru train has been stopped at Hassan and ticket amount is being repaid to the passengers by the railway staff. As the train stopped mid-way, passengers are in trouble. They have to catch a bus to reach their destination. Source: News Karnataka
