Bengaluru Man Uploads Sex Tape of Ex-GF as Revenge, Arrested

A Bengaluru techie was arrested by the Chikkamagalur Police on Thursday after his former girlfriend filed a complaint alleging that he had uploaded a sex tape of her on a porn website. According to the Chikkamagalur SP, the accused, Hemanth, is a 29-year-old techie employed at the Manyata Tech Park in Bengaluru. The girl, who is from Chikkamagalur, was studying in a private engineering college in the city and was in a live-in relationship with Hemanth. The couple had separated three months ago. Hemanth then uploaded the video on a porn site two weeks ago. When the girl found out, she immediately filed a complaint with the Chikkamagaluru police and Hemanth was nabbed from his office. He has been remanded to 14-day judicial custody, the SP said.
