Beach cleaning drive organised at Nastar beach in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 25 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The students of Shri Guru Sudhindra college organised a beach cleaning drive at the Nastar beach to sweep off the wastes left by the locals and visitors on the beach here on Tuesday 25 Sep. As a part of the college’s ‘Swachh Bharat month’ which will come to a close on October 2, various activities/events regarding creating awareness on cleanliness are being organised by the college. However, the college students and the teaching faculty on Tuesday cleaned the Nastar beach by sweeping off all the wastes and spreading awareness among the locals. Prof. Omkar Maraballi, Prof. Anand Devadig, students of B.com, BBA and BCA colleges were present during the cleaning drive. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
