Beach cleaning drive by administration marks 'International Beach Cleaning Day' in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 22 September 2019:To mark the occasion of 'International Beach Cleaning day', Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Sajjid Mulla on Saturday flagged off the beach cleaning drive organised by Uttara Kannada district administration along with Bhatkal Taluka administration, Taluka Panchayat, Bhatkal Town Municipality Council and Jali Pattan Panchayat here at Murdeshwar Beach on Saturday. Addressing the event, AC Sajjid Mulla said, "Maintaining Cleanliness must be our culture and this is our duty to keep our surroundings clean". Hundreds of people, activists and officials including, Tahsildar VP Kotralli, TMC officials Devraj, Venugopal Shastri, Bhatkal BEO MR Munji, and several others took part in the beach cleaning drive.
