BCJ organises parenting workshop for members and their families in Jeddah

Jeddah 18 February 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Career Guidance wing of BCJ, organised a parenting workshop for its members and their families on the occasion of prominent speaker and life coach Ameenul Hassan’s visit to the city. The workshop was organised at Zafiro Restaurant in the city. Ameenul Hassan, in his address, spoke about several issues and problems of parenting and also explained in details, as how the parents can counter those problems. During his address, Ameenul Hassan stressed upon letting the kids study and pursue according to their dreams and ambitions and added that the parents should not keep impractical expectations of grades from their kids exceeding their abilities. He further urged parents to keep their kids away from gadgets and mobile phones at least till they are 18 years old. He also spoke about the importance of parents spending time with their children, and also explained the negative impact and consequences on the minds of kids if the parents don’t spend time with them, and hence advised parents to have dedicated time to spend with their kids every day. A question and answer session was also organised during the workshop, wherein several questions were about parenting and upbringing of the kids were asked to the speaker, who answered them in details. Earlier, the event began with the recitation of Quran by Moulana Usama Muniri, followed by BCJ Secretary Habibullah Mohtesham welcoming the guest. Naveed Hassan Ikkeri introduced the guest while BCJ President Shoaib Koteshwar presided over the event. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
